These records were provide by the City of Urbana on November 2nd 2020 in response to a FOIA request submitted on September 23rd, 2020. The request asked for any and all documents related to the new Community Engagement Coordinator position (which had been filled by Lemond Peppers) and the new Human Rights and Equity Officer (which had not yet been filled). The request further clarified: “Document should include, but not be limited to, job descriptions, applications & attached documents, correspondence with/about applicants, documents indicating pay/salary, etc…”
Since Lemond Peppers had already been hired by the City, these documents include his application, resume, and various correspondence. For ease of access, Check CU has parsed out Lemond Peppers’s application and resume from the bulk FOIA response into its own PDF.
